Theories On The Disappearance Of Malaysia Passenger Jet

We don't want to add to the grief of the families, but we can't help playing some scenarios in our mind on what might have occurred. It's been more than two days since the plane vanished. There was no distress signal. There is no sign of wreckage. Theories abound, including absurd ones. Just click on the link to read more about each theory.

Catastrophic failure.
It disintegrated mid-air.
Terrorism.
Downed by a missile.
Hidden by electronic weaponry.
Has been hijacked and is in an abandoned airport somewhere.
Alien abduction.

These are all theories. I guess the best we can do to help the families, aside from an intensive search and rescue efforts, is pray.
