Kung ako (na masang Pilipino), hindi man lang ako magtatanong kung tutulong sila. Lalo lang tayo nagmumukhang mahina at kawawa.

Kung humantong sa gyera, handa akong makipaglaban para sa bansang ito. At hindi dahil nasyonalistik ako (pramis, gusto kong mangibangbayan), kundi dahil pinagkakautangan ko ang bayang ito (ng edukasyon atbp.), dahil nandito ang mga mahal ko sa buhay, at dahil ayoko nang inaapak-apakan.

Alam ko kelangan natin ng tulong, pero sana hindi natin hingin na para tayong namamalimos. Kung tumulong man sila, salamat; pero dapat gawin nila yun dahil yun ang nararapat.

Lumaban tayo ng may dignidad.

Mahanap pa kaya natin and dignidad sa gitna ng kahirapan, kahinaan, at korapsyon?

O para tayong naghahanap ng karayom sa isang tambak ng dayami?
